The Department of Sharir Kriya at Shri Ayurved College is a key academic unit, committed to imparting high-quality education and practical training in the foundational concepts of Ayurvedic physiology. Fully compliant with the norms laid down by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), the department is equipped with modern instruments and equipment that facilitate a hands-on learning experience for students.

Each year, the department offers three seats for Post-Graduation (P.G.) in Kriya Sharir. So far, 73 students have successfully completed their P.G. programs, making significant contributions to the field. Audio-visual aids are regularly employed, enhancing both lecture and non-lecture sessions, making complex physiological concepts easier to grasp.

The department has successfully secured grants from the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) under the prestigious PG-STAR (Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research) scheme, which supports research at the postgraduate level. Additionally, undergraduate students have also achieved recognition by securing grants under the UG-SPARK scheme, which encourages early involvement in Ayurvedic research.
